Ok, so I know that the heel is a big...large. Thus that wonky weird looking foot thing I posted in my last message...but I chalk it up to being my first sock. A total learning experience. So instead of making an equally large but matching counterpart for this beastly thing I am going to put this up and save it as my first of (hopefully) many and make another pair that has a normal heel. WooHoo!

I don't think your first socks look so bad. I think the heel just looks large because of the way the ribbing on the leg of the sock contracts, which it is supposed to do for a nice snug fit over the ankle and leg. You have every right to be proud of them. They are very nice socks.
